New Release! Warren Troy’s Third Book—The Last Homestead: Further Adventures of Denny Caraway, Alaskan Homesteader.
It was my pleasure recently to publish Warren Troy’s third book with us. Warren is truly an Alaska Wilderness Adventure Author. That’s what we call him, and he fits the bill.
His novels bring the reader into the life of a man, Denny Caraway, who has achieved financial success in the big city, at the expense of his soul. Caraway finds a deeper and more satisfying life in Alaska. That is, if he makes all the right decisions, and has the luck to escape the wildlife.
Warren’s first novel, Trails: Adventures of Denny Caraway, Alaskan Homesteader, was well-received. And Warren promised there would be more to his hero’s story, and The Last Homestead is the result. In this second book, Caraway’s life falls apart and he heads, like a wounded animal, deep into Alaska’s forest, until a friend finds him, and Denny realizes it’s time to come home.
Warren established himself as a real writer with his first book—a memoir of his younger days on the way to Alaska. He packed in all the experiences as a hippie in Haight-Ashbury and the Flower Power Sixties, and what happened after he burned out on that scene that went into making him a wiser, older man.
This first book earned him a lot of fans. One man said: “ . . . [Jester] may be the most enthralling book I’ve read in the last 20 years.”
We invite you to stop by his web site, read some other reviews and comments, and take a look at the pictures Warren has posted for you of the Alaska he loves. Just go to www.warrentroy.com. You can also check to see when he’s next going to be doing a book event.
